The Grace Lady Royals Women's Volleyball Team headed Friday to Ankeny, IA to participate in Faith Baptist's Bible College's Spikefest. The Royals began the two day tournament playing the SouthEastern University Fire. Grace struggled to find there rhythm and had to make some adjustments throughout the game as their serving skills were slow to warm up. Grace had 15 missed serves. However, Danielle Powell made a strong showing stepping up her serving game as the Lady Royals continued to struggle. Mandie Drege stepped in to contribute making 3 strong blocks. "We had a rough start to the tournament but we are excited to make some adjustments a come ready for our next game against Moody," Coach Angie Taulborg remarked. Mary Harder produced 21 kills. Anna O'Neil added 19 kills, 2 blocks. Becky Way contributed 17 kills and 10 digs. Sheresa Scholton had 44 set assists. Grace lost 1-3.
