Women’s Soccer: Royals Lose to York Panthers 0—3

OMAHA, NEBRASKA: The Grace University women's soccer team hosted the York College Panthers on Sat., Sept. 2, and lost 0-3 in their third game in the last four days. 

The Royals kept the Panthers from scoring for the first 36 minutes of the game.  The Royals were down 0—1 at the half but did not lose their intensity as the second half continued.  The Panthers shot and scored twice more in the second half, leaving the score at 0—3 at the end of the game.  

Freshman goalie for the Royals, Kallie Gibson, saved 11 shots throughout the game, 7 in the first half.  Grace had 6 shots, 4 of which were on-goal, to York's 29 shots, 14 of which were on-goal. 

UP NEXT: The Royals will travel to play Clarke University on Sat., Sept. 9.  Kick-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
