SPRINGFIELD, NEBRASKA: The Grace University women's soccer team traveled to Springfield, Nebraska, to play Nebraska Christian College on October 3.  The Royals won for the first time this season with 5 goals against the Sentinels.

The Royals played well against the Sentinels, scoring early in the game with a goal from junior Alyx Scholl.  Grace continued to play well, scoring four more times in the half with another goal from Alyx Scholl and goals from Aubrie Ehrenberg, Aleda Renter, and Angelica Monay.  In the second half, the Royals had several more shots on goal, but none of them found the back of the net.  The Royals allowed the Sentinels' only goal of the game a little more than halfway through the second half, when the Sentinels scored off a free kick just outside the penalty box.
