Volleyball: Grace Signs Setter Jordan Lempa from Streamwood, Illinois

OMAHA, NEBRASKA: Grace University's volleyball team, led by head coach Courtney Moore, is excited to announce the signing of 5'6" setter Jordan Lempa from Streamwood, Illinois.

Jordan, the daughter of Glenn and Cathy Lempa, attended Schaumburg Christian School in Schaumburg, Illinois and will graduate high school this year.She plans to major in nursing.Lempa was a band member.She attends Bethel Baptist Church in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Jordan Lempa began her volleyball career in sixth grade at Schaumburg Christian School, where she played through her senior year.In her senior year, Lempa started as a setter for the varsity volleyball team under head coach Alice Cummings; the team has their best year in program history.She and her teammates won their second IHSA Regional Championship, as well as the IHSA Sectional Championship.Lempa also played club volleyball in the Top Flight Volleyball Club.

"Grace University has the small Christian environment that I was looking for," Lempa said in a statement, "and the volleyball team was so welcoming when I practiced with them."

"As a setter, Jordan will be a great asset to our roster," said Coach Moore."I am excited to get her into our system and to see what she can bring to our offense.Jordan fits perfectly with who we are as an institution and I am thrilled to have her join our Royal family."
