Women’s Volleyball: The Royals Win Home-Opener Over Rival Manhattan Christian College

OMAHA, NEBRASKA: The Grace University women's volleyball team won their first home game of the season in five sets, beating Manhattan Christian with scores of 22-25, 25-16, 25-19, 24-26, and 15-9.  The five sets saw 14 lead changes, and the score was tied 29 times.  The Royals are now 1-1 this season. 

Junior Taylor Thompson led the Royals with 19 kills and a .220 hitting percentage, followed by newbie Alicia Pierce with 9 kills and a .350 hitting percentage. Senior Chloe Corbett had an impressive 20 digs, while senior Becca Entz had 7 block assists.
